Craft: Easter Gingerbread House
We have always made Ginger bread houses at Christmas time. I've had so much fun making them over the years that I decided to carry it over to Easter. Here is my first creation, the house of Mr. Easter Bunny himself.
Craft Project: Easter Egg Picks
Simple Easter Egg picks from plastic eggs, straw and ribbon. I'm using small plastic eggs with regular size straws. I think if you are using larger eggs, you might want to use a sturdier material, like a wood dowel.
Craft Project: Paint Roller Bunny
Make a cute Easter bunny from a paint roller cover. Take the bunny ears and glue onto paint roller. I used a bunny hat off of an old stuffed toy but you could also make ears from foam. Next, make some feet out of foam and glue on bottom of roller.
Craft Project: Little Bunny Bucket
Transform a small metal pail into a bunny to hold Easter treats. These are a snap to make and they make cute little Easter gifts.
Craft Project: Easter Lily Treat Bag
This quick treat bag is easy enough for grade schoolers. Use it for your Sunday School Class and talk about the symbolism of the Easter Lily. Or, wouldn't Grandma love this filled with marshmallow peeps and jelly beans from her favorite little Easter bunnies?
Craft Project: Plarn Easter Basket
This Mini Easter Egg Basket measures 2-1/2 inches wide and 2 inches tall with a 7 inch handle strap. It uses one ball of white plastic bags cut into strips 1 inch wide and interlocked to create a "ball of plarn" to crochet with. (Approx. 3-4 bags)
Craft Project: Yo Yo Chicks and Bunnies
These little creatures will bring delight to an Easter basket or table decoration. They are made of fabric circles called yo yo's. I just added some pom poms, jiggle eyes, etc. It was a fun project.
Craft Project: Easter Bonnet Cap
A great way to use bottle caps, ribbon, flowers, fabric and buttons! This magnet/pin can be made for a decoration, gift, or to sell. Its under .25 for everything and very easy to do.
Craft Project: Easter Egg Duck
Kids will enjoy making these cute and easy ducks from purchased plastic Easter eggs.
A colorful, fun craft just in time for spring! Glue the halves of the plastic egg together, then decorate it with pieces of ribbon and fabric trim. Cut an additional piece of ribbon and glue it in a loop to the top of the egg for a hanger.
Craft Project: Crochet Jellybean Duck
This cute duck is fun for Easter or for anytime. She is crocheted with 4 ply yarn, with a drawstring under her tail. Fill her with jellybeans, and when you squeeze her tummy, she lays "jellybean eggs".
Craft Project: 3-D Easter Bunny Card
This 3-dimensional Easter card will bring a smile to anyone's face. It's a great way to wish someone special a very Happy Easter!
I was making activity pages for a quiet book and this is one idea I thought of for a 'holiday' quiet book. I got a package of 50 foam sheets at Walmart for $5.00! They're a good size to use for quiet books.
Craft: Easter Bunny Candy Dish
Make a cute Bunny candy dish for Easter: Spray Paint a terracotta clay pot and saucer white (any size you desire is acceptable). Sponge paint the interior of the saucer with a spring color if you desire.
Craft Project: Easter Bunny Fabric Wind Sock
Create a cute bunny windsock for your outside trees or porch to twirl in the breeze.
Craft Project: Can-Can Easter Baskets
Recycle cans to make these charming little baskets. I used a large vegetable can, soup can, and tuna can. Embellish with ribbon, buttons, stickers, etc. These are great for Easter or May Day!
Craft Project: Fabric Covered Easter Eggs
Fill a basket with these easy and pretty fabric-covered foam eggs. Cut fabric into half-inch wide strips. You will need about three yards of strips for each egg. Vary the fabrics on each egg for an interesting look. Mix solids and prints as desired.
Craft Project: Cute Pompom Chick
Have a go at making a cute pompom chick. All you need to make your chick is some card rings, yarn, scissors and a few craft basics. What's more, you'll soon get hooked on making pompoms and will want to make a whole brood of chicks for your friends.
Craft Project: Jelly Bean Chicks
Create these cute chicks to hold jelly beans or other Easter candy. Give as gifts or add to your child's Easter basket.
Let kids create several of these quick and easy chicks to adorn their Easter baskets. I plan to mail one to my niece, who is away at college, with a note that says "From one skinny chick to another." Have fun with these cute chicks!
Craft Project: Paper Plate Flower Basket
This is a great summer craft to keep the kids busy for a while. All you need are some paper plates, colored paper, chenille stems (pipe cleaners), scissors, and glue.
Craft Project: Paper Plate Bunny
This is a frugal and festive bunny decoration for Easter that can be created in no time at all.
Easter is a special time when everything is reborn after the dark days of winter. Why not celebrate the spirit of this season by sharing cards and gifts with family and friends.
Craft Project: Egg and Button Pin
Using a flat piece of wood shaped like an egg or heart, you can make a cute Easter Pin.
