Storing Cantaloupe in the Refrigerator

I have refrigerated cantaloupe for about 10 days. How do I tell if it is spoiled? It looks and smells great, but I don't want to risk getting sick.

Thank you.

If it hasn't been cut open, cantaloupe will store for over a week in a fridge. You can tell when it goes bad because it will get mold in it, or it will get really squishy. Once you cut open a cantaloupe or slice it up it will keep for 2 or 3 days max.
