Hiding Furniture Imperfections and Upholstery Damage
I have very badly damaged (due to cats scratching) upholstered couches. I also have a two year old so I would be interested in an inexpensive solution that could make them look better. I don't care for slip-covers and the blankets that I have covering them look sloppy.
My couch is approximately 23 years old. I bought it in California. It is lovely and very well made. I had it recovered once about 12 years ago. It has a modern design and has held up so well. It still looks like new.
Reupholstering an Accent Chair
I am trying to remove a seat and back on a wooden accent chair from Cabot House so that I can reupholster it. I unscrewed the seat bottom, but the chair pad does not loosen. I cannot see how to remove the chair back since I do not see any screws.
I need help. We have a sleeper sofa that is in perfect condition. Unfortunately, the sofa bed frame bar on the left side is slightly bent and is impossible to open and close with any ease. The store where we purchased it has closed. Anyone have any suggestions?
