Eventually your home will need to be painted both inside and outside. However, paint can be an expensive investment. This is a guide about saving money on house paint.
I make my own paint colours by buying sample pots (at about $2 each) of colours in a darker shade than I want. Then I mix them in a large pot of cheap white paint. Use as many pots as you need.
I like the more unusual colours that they get in. For example, specialist heritage colours, but they cost a lot of money. You can get sample shades of very expensive ranges in more unusual colours. Although you have to remember that you will need the colour to be much stronger, if you mix it with white. It has worked really well for me and saved a fortune!
