Replacement for Bed Slats on a Single Bed Frame? My granddaughter's bed has those wooden slats on her bed frame. While she's been with me, they've come off several times and a few have broken. I need to find something to replace them with. I've had a look around the place but nothing jumps out as being any use. So then I looked online for wooden planks. They'd need to be about 3 feet long (36, or possibly 37 inches to fit across) but I got quite confused as I'm only used to feet and inches, even now. Also they seem quite expensive. She's quite a heavy girl and not the daintiest! I just wondered if anyone had a brainwave? Mine are sadly lacking! Thank you!
