Preserve Fresh Bouquets for Potpourri
Last December our mother passed away and we received many beautiful fresh flower bouquets. After the service, my sister and I took all the flowers home, remarking how beautiful they were and what a shame they would die.
My most memorable Mother's Day was in 1994. Our family had left for Japan as missionaries in early March of that year, and in April we received a phone call that my mom was in the hospital.
This is my daughter with her daughter. They just had flown in from Honolulu , Hawaii where they lived. My daughter just got out of the Navy and came home for Christmas before moving to Colorado Springs, Colorado where her husband is stationed. They were both soooo tired. . .
