Bake a round cake and the other half of mix in a round oven safe bowl. Frost the round layer place the bowl shaped layer on top and frost. Flatten each gummie with rolling pin.

Use circle template to cut a ring from cardstock. Trace big and small flowers onto decorative papers. Cut out. Punch a hole on center, and insert brad. Curl up the edges of each layer with your fingers.
A Mother's Day Card for Kids To Make
Bend one piece of construction paper in half. On one half draw in pencil a large triangle. Cut along the penciled lines to cut the triangle out.
For Mother's Day, I am making my Mom and Mother in law a homemade sugar scrub as part of their gifts. They are easy to make, economical, and much healthier than store bought scrubs. Here is the recipe:
Make a square frame using four popsicle sticks. Glue construction paper to the back of them. Have the child draw a picture of themselves or them and their mommy. Decorate it as you'd like using glitter, stickers, whatever you'd like. You can even put a magnet on the back to hang on the refrigerator. This will remind mom how much she means to you.

This is a vintage craft from the 60's made from nylon net and a bar of soap. The kids could help with this one. I think the shape of the Dove Soap has changed so you may have to modify the pattern or the bar of soap to complete this project.

Lot's of mothers love cookies rather than candy. I know that one of the sweetest gifts I ever received from my kids was a plate of cookies. They baked them for me and put them on a pretty plate that had flowers all around the rim.
