Having two grandchildren, ages 2 and 6 months, has certainly taught me a lot about the newest products for babies. There are so much more to choose from than there were in my child raising days. To make buying for the new baby-to-be less stressful, I have compiled a list of products which have been "tried and true" and I would recommend for showers and gift-giving for the mother-to-be.
Keep yourself dry while giving your baby a bath by creating a large bib from a towel. Just fasten one end of the towel around your neck using a large safety pin and let the rest drape in front of you.
Changing the Baby After His Nap
I always change the baby before he goes in for a nap. Instead of changing him when he wakes I wait 10 or 15 minutes. Babies don't tend to wet very much when they are sleeping, he is often fairly dry!
