Use a clutter jail to help kids pick up their stuff. If you pick something of theirs off the floor they then have to pick a card from a jar, and complete the task before they get their item returned. Here is some card ideas:
Being Organized for School Mornings
The first thing you need to do is eliminate the mad scramble of the morning rush. You need to be organized and be prepared ahead of time. I will give you some great tips to avoid the morning chaos.
My son is a Life Scout in Boy Scouts. He is in his 9th year now, having started in first grade as a Tiger Cub. We have a plastic bin in his bedroom where all of his Scout "stuff" goes.
Use Mesh Bag For Barbie Clothes
Barbie clothes are actually very easy to clean. When my daughter was little and had Barbies, I put the clothes in a mesh bag like what you'd put lingerie in.
Preparing for School the Night Before
This is a guide about preparing for school the night before. The best way to be ready to go for school in the morning is to prepare the night before. Keep you morning running smooth and stress free with these helpful tips.
Getting Kids Up and Ready for School
My kids are heading back to school soon. Does anyone have any tips on how to get everyone up and out in the mornings?
Choosing Clothes to Wear to School
My kids are always changing their minds about their school clothes at the last minute. Any ideas how to get them to make a clothing decision and to stick to it so we aren't running late every morning?
When my kids (and fosters) were young, I bought a roll of tickets (like those at a carnival). They are available at places like WalMart. I made lists of chores, age appropriate for each child.
I have a 3 and 4 year old and they're currently sharing a room. I need a good organization tip to get all of them separated and together.
Give Each Child Their Own Color
I have four kids in my house. To make things easier, each kid has their own color (green, blue, red, pink/yellow). we have three boys and a girl. Most things come in green, blue, red, and yellow like plates, bowls, cups, tooth brushes, etc.
I have 4 kids and each one has their own schedule that I need to keep track of. I print out a calender for each month for each kid. Each calender is color coded so it is easy to read the minute you/child looks at it.
