How long does it take for the baby goldfish to grow into full grown fish?
I have two goldfish who laid eggs and 1 of them hatched. How long does it take for the baby goldfish to grow into full grown? I already put the older fish into a new tank but I want to know how long it will be.

Instead of the more expensive sands and other substrates at the fish store, go to your local hardware store. For natural sand,use play sand; for black sand, use black sandblasting sand; for white sand, use white pool filter sand.
We have tried everything we know of to try to get green algae off of our acrylic tank. It looks horrible. If felt doesnt work, what else can we try without killing our fish or scratching our tank?
I purchased a silver shark last week and it still seems to be a little uneasy. It hits the sides of the tank most of the time and is very scared of the other fish, wich is kind of funny as the other fish are small portion of its size. Also, it doesn't seem to be eating at all. Swimming Belly-up Goldfish Remedy
Recently a friend gave me two large gold fish they didn't want anymore. The one kept swimming belly-up (upside down). I was told it was a sign she was going to die soon. I couldn't take it watching her struggle! What it is, is a sign of infection and it affects their balance and buoyancy. It can't be cured.
My 2 year old loves fish so we set up a 10 gallon tank that we had found on the street and went to the pet store. We only buy the goldfish that are on sale (3 for $3), because then if they die, I can replace one no problem, and my son has no idea that one has died.
