Ah, my favorite time of the year! I know it's a little past Christmas, but I couldn't help myself, I had to post these festive photos! I have included 8 shots, and I think I covered just about everything I had taken pictures of that night.
Holiday: Christmas Snowy Scene
This wintry view from our living room stopped me in my tracks. I had to grab my camera to capture that which had captured my fancy.
Holiday: Christmas Tree and Decorations
This is our tree for this year (2011). It rotates. I painted the caroling kids around the bottom years ago, also the Santa above the fireplace.
Scenery: Shore Acres Holiday Lights
Strolling the paths of Shore Acres is always a treat, no matter the season. My husband and I had the privilege of heading out there this Christmas Eve for their gorgeous holiday lights!
Fall Flowers in Irish Beleek Vase
Beleek is a well know pottery produced in Ireland, with shamrocks on it. My geraniums are blooming in the fall now, and there also is a sprig of sage in the vase. We love the neon colors of the geraniums in this vase. They are almost unreal, and we love Beleek pottery. Enjoy and Merry Christmas!
This may look like a star with white lights, it's actually, 2 open old crab cages. I saw these at a resale shop, not thinking of using them for crabbing, but immediately saw that these old cages when open formed a perfect star.
Holiday: Our Annual Christmas Card
We always take a holiday photo at Christmas. Here is ours for this year. This is my husband and I who are almost 70 years young. We enclosed this with our Christmas cards and it says:

We took several family Christmas pictures and in every picture my husband, my 8 year old, and I are smiling, but also in every picture my 4 year old is making a silly face. I would love for someone to help me come up with a Christmas card saying to match my silly 4 year old. Thanks.
Holiday: Christmas Tree with Homemade Ornaments
In 2000, I remade some of the older ornaments and then headed for Alaska, sure I would be back way before the 2001 Holiday Season. Then life happened and it was another 10 years till I was where I could have a tree and use the ornaments again.

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas, just like the one we had last year. It was the first white Christmas we have had in a long time. Snow in our area is exciting and it just brings out the kid in all of us.
My mom got my son this outfit, I think it's a sleeper, but my son wants to play dress-up and is excited for Halloween so I put it in him one night to try it on.

My granddaughter, Alli, seemed to match the flowers in my mother's yard. She is so funny, and came up with this pose on her own. She's always making everybody laugh.

My son seems to find four leaf clovers in our front yard every single year. Since today is St. Patrick's Day, I sent him out to find me one to share with all of you. It took him maybe 5 minutes, he is a lucky guy.

My staff gets very little recognition. The least little bit of recognition makes them happy. We have a fabulous nursing team and every so often I like to tell them how much they are appreciated for the work they do.
Craft Project: Crocheted Edge Valentine Card
A special Valentine for someone special. With a pencil lightly draw a heart, circle, or oval around the picture on the card. Cut out the shape, cutting just inside the pencil marks. On the back side draw a line about 1/8 inch from the edge.
