This BBQ will be on your favorite list in no time at all. A succulent bourbon sauce that is neither sweet nor sour. It is just perfect for any meatball you make.
Ingredients:
Meatballs:
1 lb. lean hamburger
1 lb. pork sausage
2 Tbsp. Italian herbs
2 eggs
1 cup bread crumbs
BBQ Sauce:
1/2 onion, minced
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup bourbon whiskey
1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
1/2 Tbsp. salt
2 cups ketchup
1/3 cup cider vinegar
2 Tbsp. liquid smoke flavoring
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/3 tsp. hot pepper sauce, or to taste
Directions:
Meatballs:
Mix together and form into balls. Put into oven to bake at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes. While they are baking make the BBQ sauce
BBQ Sauce:
In a large skillet over medium heat, combine the onion, garlic, and whiskey. Simmer for 10 minutes, or until onion is translucent. Mix in the ground black pepper, salt, ketchup, vinegar, liquid smoke, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, and hot pepper sauce.
Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low, and simmer for 20 minutes. Run sauce through a strainer if you prefer a smooth sauce. Add your meatballs and put in crock pot on high for 30 minutes. Allow to marinate until ready to serve.
This recipe is great after sitting all night in the BBQ sauce.

Combine first 9 ingredients, and form into little meatballs. For the sauce, combine catchup, liquid smoke, brown sugar, and onions; bring to a boil. Pour over meatballs. Bake at 350 degrees F for 40 to 60 minutes.
Moisten crumbs with milk and add to meat and seasonings. Form into balls and brown quickly in skillet. Put in casserole and pour the sauce over top. Bake 1 hour in slow 325 degree F oven.
1 each red and green pepper, cut into large chunks
1 onion cut into large chunks
6 fresh button mushrooms, stems removed
6 cherry tomatoes
6 wooden skewers (12 inch) soak in water for 10 minutes to keep them from burning while grilling
1 cup BBQ sauce
Directions
Microwave baby red potatoes on high (850 watts) for 2 minutes. Alternate meatballs and vegetables on the skewers, ending with cherry tomato or mushroom cap. Grill kebabs for 10 - 15 minutes Rotate 1/4 turn, every 2-3 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked. Brush kebabs with BBQ sauce during the last 5 minutes of grilling.
I am going to make my meatballs with ground turkey and add a little millers bran for fiber instead of using bread crumbs.
Mix all ingredients together well. Form into balls. Place on ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350 degrees until browned. To keep warm, place in crock pot on low. Cover with Masterpiece Barbecue Sauce.
Mix first 8 ingredients together and form meatballs. Brown in pan with oil. Mix together remaining ingredients, heat in casserole dish. Add meatballs and bake 1/2 hour.
Meatballs: Mix all the ingredients until well blended. Form into small meatballs place in Pam sprayed 9x13 inch Baking Dish.
Sauce: Mix all the ingredients in a small saucepan bring to a boil. Pour Over Meatballs Bake covered at 400 degrees F in Foil for 45 minutes.

Mix hamburger, oats, eggs, milk, onions, chili powder, pepper, salt and garlic powder. Shape meat mixture into balls (don't brown) and put into casserole pan. Mix ketchup, brown sugar, liquid smoke, onions, garlic powder and tomato sauce. Pour over meatballs and bake in 350 degrees F oven for one hour.

Mix all together. Roll in balls and place in baking dish. Mix up sauce of your choice. Combine and pour over meatballs. Bake in 350 degrees F oven for 1 1/2 hours. Makes 24 small meatballs.

For Sauce: Combine all ingredients in saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring often, and pour over meatballs and bake.
For Meatballs: Combine all ingredients and shape into balls. Lay meatballs in 2 quart casserole and pour sauce over and bake at 350 degrees F for 50 minutes.
