This is a refreshing punch that is a favorite for family parties. It is handy also because you can keep a bag of it in the freezer to pull out and mix with lemon lime soda at short notice, just allowing a little thaw time. We get many compliments on this, especially from folks who don't like "sherberty" punches.

Ingredients:

Directions:

In a large pot, combine sugar, water, and jello. Boil for 3 minutes. Stir in lemon juice, pineapple juice, and orange juice. Divide mixture in half and freeze in two one-gallon freezer bags. Try not to allow it to freeze in a solid block.

You may want to make and freeze the mixture the night before and "knead"the bags a few times the next day to serve that afternoon, or make and freeze very early in the morning and knead periodically during the day to serve late that night. Keep in mind your freezer's abilities.

Take out of freezer a little while before serving to let it soften a bit, kneading the bag to mash it up. When ready to serve, pour one bag into a punch bowl and stir in one bottle of soda.

One bag of mix to one bottle soda to make a standard punch bowl full. Mash with a potato masher to break down large chunks. Should be cold and slushy. Repeat with other bag and soda when needed, or save in freezer for another time. If it has frozen into a chunk, just allow more softening and kneading time to break it down.

With the holidays fast approaching, I thought this might be an inexpensive recipe to have on hand for all those parties and for all year.

Fast And Easy Party Punch

Ingredients:

Combine sugar and Kool-Aid in a gallon pitcher. Add enough warm water to dissolve. Then fill pitcher about 1/2 full of cold water. Be sure water is cold before adding other ingredients. Add 7-Up, pineapple juice and ginger ale. Best if lime sherbet is added to the punch and served in punch bowl.. Makes 25 to 30 cups.

I have used different kinds of juice or even added different kinds of soda for the juice, and then my choice of sherbet depending on the colors being used for the occasion.

I am looking for a punch recipe that is made with orange sherbet and I don't know what else they put in it. It was very good and they had it at a baby shower I went to with a friend. Now I can't find out who made it. It might of had vanilla ice cream and maybe Sprite or Seven Up also. I hope someone knows what I am explaining and has an answer for me and a recipe. Thank you all.

Yes, you can add Sprite or 7 up and you will have delicious punch. I don't know if that is the same recipe you had, but still, it works well, I have used it a lot. I can't put this stuff down!

Oh, forgot to say, no real recipe. Just use a half gallon of sherbet (any kind is good), with a 2 ltr. of Sprite or 7-Up. If you want to make less use a quart of sherbert and maybe a half of the drink.

My piano teacher taught me to make punch using any flavor sherbert and ginger ale. The ginger ale makes the punch bubble up.

Ingredients

  • 1 (46 oz.) pineapple juice
  • 1 (12 oz.) concentrated orange juice, limeade, lemonade
  • 3 liters of ginger ale ( you can use diet*)

Directions

Add the first four ingredients in a large punch bowl, stir in ginger ale. Serve immediately.

*If you don't have ginger ale, you can use equal parts of 7-up and coca cola (diet is ok as well). Our daughter in law is a diabetic and she loves this punch so we use diet sodas. It has become a family favorite.

Ingredients

  • 1 Gallon Hawaiian Punch
  • 46 Ounces Pineapple Juice
  • 2 Liters Ginger Ale

Directions

Chill ingredients, mix together, and serve. This makes almost 2 gallons.

This is a mild punch that works great when you aren't sure how much punch to have on hand. This mixes so easy you can keep the ingredients separate until you need them.
