Bridal Shower Finger Sandwiches Recipes
With this being the time of year for Bridal showers, all the women involved with our Bridal shower decided to make finger sandwiches. To make it easier, everyone shared in making the food and each of us had something else to do as well as make the sandwiches also.
Butter casserole dish. Decrust 12 slices bread. Butter on 1 side. Sprinkle crabmeat over 6 buttered slices. Sprinkle with Lawry's seasoning salt. Cover with 6 remaining slices bread, buttered.
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Beat the eggs, cream, and salt together in a small flat bowl or pie plate. Spread the tops of the slices of bread evenly with the butter and then the mustard.
Saute' onion, green pepper and mushrooms in butter and remove from pan. Beat eggs until frothy and add milk. Scramble in pan with onion, pepper and mushrooms but allow to remain very moist.
Flatten each roll into a 3-inch circle. Place circles on a large sprayed baking sheet. Cover with sprayed plastic wrap and let rise until double. Remove wrap. With fingertips press indentation in the center of each roll.
Cut a thin slice off the top of each tomato. Scoop out and discard pulp; invert tomatoes onto paper towels to drain. In a small bowl, combine the remaining ingredients; stuff into tomatoes. Refrigerate until serving.
In a small mixing bowl, combine the first eight ingredients; beat until blended. Stir in the cucumbers, red pepper, onion, olives and parsley. Cover and refrigerate for up to 2 hours.
These take a couple of hours to cook the ingredients and assemble. They are just as good the next day. The ingredients below are a suggestion, everything is optional except for milk, cheese and eggs.
Beat Eggs until light. Gradually beat in Soup and Cream. Add Ham, and Vegetables. Set aside.
