Peruvian Mussels

This is my absolute FAVORITE dish when we go to Peru! Clean the mussels. Wash and clean them with a brush. Cook the mussels in boiling water and remove them from the flame while they're getting opened -you don't want them to become overcooked.

Houston Shrimp Creole

Saute' first 3 ingredients in bacon drippings until onions are golden. Add tomato paste, tomatoes, seasonings and herbs. Simmer for about 40 minutes until thickened. Add shrimp and salt. Simmer for 15 minutes.

Crab Meat Imperial

Saute' green pepper and pimento in butter in saucepan until tender. Add next 4 ingredients, stirring until smooth. Add milk gradually. Cook until thick, stirring constantly. Stir a small amount of hot mixture into egg yolk. Stir egg yolk into hot mixture.

Easy Shrimp Dip

Blend cream cheese with mayonnaise. Add chili sauce, lemon juice, and Worcestershire sauce. Blend until smooth. Add chopped shrimp; blend. Chill. Serve with chips, crackers, or veggies.

Beer-Steamed Clams

Place the clams in the bottom of a clam steamer of a deep boiling pot (I use a wire basket sitting on a steel rack to fit bottom of pan). Add the beer to completely cover the clams, then add the bay leaves and the lemon juice.

Shrimp and Cheese Casserole

Break bread in quarter-size pieces. Break cheese in bite-size pieces. Arrange shrimp, bread and cheese in several layers in greased 1 1/2 qt. casserole. Pour butter over this mixture. Beat eggs and add mustard and salt to eggs.

Delicious Rice and Shrimp in a Creamy Cheese Sauce

If you are having company and want something new to serve, your friends and family will really love this recipe. You will be surprised at what is in it and the fact that it will not use your food budget up for the week. When we made it for our kids, they loved it. So here goes. It is great with your favorite rolls but it really does not need anything else to accompany it. It is up to you though! Good Luck and Enjoy!

Crab Souffle

Butter casserole dish. Decrust 12 slices bread. Butter on 1 side. Sprinkle crabmeat over 6 buttered slices. Sprinkle with Lawry's seasoning salt. Cover with 6 remaining slices bread, buttered.

Spicy Grilled Shrimp

Peel shrimp. Combine all other ingredients. Add peeled shrimp to sauce and let stand 15 minutes. Grill shrimp over hot coals, basting with sauce. Be careful not to overgrill!

Crab Crackers

Divide each biscuit into 3 layers. Place on baking sheet. Mix other ingredients together and spoon small amount onto each biscuit. Bake at 350 degrees F for 15-20 minutes.

Generously brush oil in mold. Set upside down on paper towel in freezer. Combine soup and cream cheese in saucepan over low heat until creamy. Dissolve gelatin in cold water over low heat. Mix with soup mixture.

Crab Casserole

Melt butter in saucepan and blend in flour. Stir in water and milk. Cook, stirring until thick. Add remaining ingredients except crumbs and cheese. Pour into buttered 1 1/2 qt. casserole and top with crumbs and cheese.
