Dolly's Chicken Soup

I have made this often, and everyone says it's the best chicken soup they've ever tasted, so I thought I'd share it with this group.

Sour Cream Chicken Tortilla Soup

In a large pot add chicken, broth, rotel, corn, American cheese or white cheese dip, cumin, chili powder, garlic, paprika, salt, pepper, and sour cream. Bring contents of pot to a boil and then reduce to a simmer. Simmer for 30 minutes.

Faux Pho

I recently came down with a killer cold and wanted chicken soup. However, I don't really care for traditional chicken noodle soup, especially the canned kinds. It was too late in the evening, and I felt too lousy to make a batch of homemade. What I really wanted was Pho - I adore it! But I didn't feel good enough to do the driving to the nearest restaurant, and the post-Christmas budget is tight.

Hearty Tuna Cheese Chowder

Saute celery and onion in butter until tender. Stir in flour and heat until bubbly. Stir in 3 cups milk and heat on medium heat until thickens. Lower the heat and add the other 3 cups milk and heat thoroughly.

10 Quarts of Homemade Italian Chicken Soup (for less than $10)

Put all into a 12 qt pot and simmer for 2-3 hours. Use a hen, it won't break down as quick as a chicken (the meat does not come out dry or stringy) and has more flavor. Check the soup for flavor, add more salt if needed.

April's Chicken Soup

Remove skin from chicken and boil. (By removing the skin, you are saving yourself a step of removing the oil later.) When chicken is fully cooked, remove from heat and save the liquid. Let chicken cool and remove from the bone and cut into small pieces.

Butterball Dumplings in Chicken Broth (Soup)

Remove crust from bread, and crumble to fine crumbs. Add butter or margarine, salt, egg and pepper. Mix and knead until mixture can be formed into balls (about 30 balls) 3/4 inch in diameter.

Sensational Chicken Noodle Soup

Heat broth, pepper, carrot and celery in 2-qt. saucepan over medium-high heat to a boil. Stir in noodles and chicken. Reduce heat to medium. Cook for 10 minutes or until noodles are tender.

Place flour in a 10 inch cast-iron skillet. Bake at 400 degrees F for 1 hour or until very dark brown, stirring every 10 minutes. Remove skillet from oven and set aside.combine chicken and water in a large Dutch oven; cook 20 minutes or until chicken is tender.

In a large stock pot, put all ingredients in together as listed, except the pasta and frozen vegetables. Bring to a boil, lower heat to simmer for at least 1 hour or more.

Pour all of the cans into the crockpot, don't drain anything! Add in the seasoning, water and onion; stir. Submerge the chicken breast into the mix and cook on low for 8 hours/high for 4 hours.

Chicken Chowder Soup

Recipe for Chicken Chowder Soup. Cook first 7 ingredients together until tender. Slowly add flour mixed with milk and bring to a boil. Add cheese. I use less veggies or more broth as I please.
