I am looking for a recipe for pineapple sauce for ham.
Taste like the stuffing you would use to stuff poultry. It's great for toasted turkey sandwiches.
Melt butter in a large pot; add cabbage, apple slices, and peppercorns. Add bay leaf and salt and/or pepper to taste. Cover and cook over low heat for about 10 minutes.
Green Beans with Bacon Vinaigrette
I think rather than making the typical green bean casserole with mushroom soup for Thanksgiving, this would be a new twist on it.
This is an easy recipe and I have made it even easier throughout the years. This came from my mother who never measured anything. She just used her hand to measure and then made it to taste. Made to taste is hard to explain, I guess. Make it taste the way you like it.
Combine all ingredients. Beat until smooth and pour batter into 9x13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees. Cream frosting ingredients together until smooth.
Better than pumpkin pie! Mix first 6 ingredients and pour into 9x13 inch pan. Sprinkle dry cake mix over top. Drizzle with melted butter and sprinkle pecans over the top.
Very colorful and tasty! I get many compliments on this recipe. I usually double the recipe as we enjoy it very much.
Swirled Pumpkin and Caramel Cheesecake
So good! Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Finely grind crushed cookies, pecans, and sugar in processor. Add melted butter and blend until combined.
In a medium bowl, toss the graham cracker crumbs with the melted butter, sugar, and cinnamon until thoroughly combined. Place 1/4 cup of the mixture into a small bowl and add the candied ginger.
What should I cook for Thanksgiving dinner?
It's almost turkey time again, so I want to share this great dressing recipe with you. It is easy, flavorful, and comes out perfect every time. Don't let the fact that it has Stove Top in it fool you, this tastes nothing like Stove Top.
Inexpensive, quick and easy crowd pleaser. Combine one packet potato flakes and one bag stuffing mix in bowl with half a cup of hot water; stir.
Julie's Best Pumpkin Pie (From Scratch)
It's pumpkin season in New England and this looks to be good crop - great after last year's disaster. This recipe is my total scratch recipe for Pumpkin Pie - starting with a pumpkin.
Stir together 1 slightly beaten egg, pumpkin, 1/3 c. sugar and spice. Spread over bottom of pie shell. Combine 2 beaten eggs, corn syrup, 1/2 cup sugar, butter and vanilla.
Arrange potatoes cut in half lengthwise in uncovered baking dish. Meanwhile, combine remaining ingredients in saucepan. Boil 5 minutes. Pour over potatoes. Bake at 375 degrees F for 45 minutes.
This is a very simple recipe that I happened to use with petite pumpkins and apples. However, the fruit can be changed out to be any sliced fruit you want to use. I've also done this with apples, pears, and oranges together.
Grind cranberries, apples and oranges through coarse blade of food grinder. Use peeling of one orange. Add sugar and let stand 6 hours in refrigerator. Add nuts just before serving.
Another great way to use leftover turkey. Mix turkey with dressing. Put in 9x13 inch pan. Make gravy. Don't make gravy thick; should be rather thin.
This was a big hit at Thanksgiving, so I'll probably be making it again for Christmas. A must try!
A great way to use leftover Turkey! Mix all ingredients together and pour over turkey that has been roasted and either cut up or shredded. Heat before serving.
Simple, but cute, this edible turkey craft is sure to please the turkey enthusiasts as we celebrate Thanksgiving.
This is such a fun project! Do it with your kids or by yourself. Great for the Thanksgiving table, or to make as a treat for your child's class.
Thanksgiving Cupcakes. My daughter made these cupcakes for Thanksgiving. Took a long time but it was worth it. Tip: color only a small amount of icing at a time.
