Ants hate borax and cinnamon too. You might try sprinkling it in the doorways and cupboards.

I second trying Cascade. I have gotten lots of stains out with it. Another thing to maybe try is Biz Bleach.

No but I hear that borax powder will do the job. Just sprinkle it on and leave it for an hour, then vacuum.
Infestation Of Tiny Ants?
Borax powder on the carpets, door jams, under appliances, etc. They take the borax granules back to the next and it kills the nest. Hope that helps.
Getting Rid of Snails?
Put some shallow containers with beer in them in the garden. Make sure the side of the container are not too high for the snails to crawl up. The beer attacks them! It worked for me!
Litter Box Odor?
I use Tidy Cat litter and clean out the clumps at least once a day. I also use the tidy cat litter box powder.

Have you tried soaking it with some baking soda water overnight? That works for me.

Are you able to wash it in a washing machine? Or maybe hang it outside and wash it with water. Also try a pet stain removing product.

You might try vinegar to clean with. The vinegar smell only stays for a while and leaves things smelling pretty clean.
