Pros and Cons of Joining the National Guard?My son, in possession of a BS in psychology, is currently working as an EMT. He is considering joining the National Guard for not only the extra pay, but because he was told that he could also advance his education by joining.
Whirlpool Frontload Washer Does Not Dispense Softener or Bleach?The softener and bleach dispensers are not dispensing, these liquids remain in the cups. There are no problems with the scant detergent that I use. That dispenses well. I have been very judicious with use of detergent, bleach, and softener (vinegar only).
What is This Plant?Can you help me identify this shrub? It grew in the corner of our large backyard, but I suspect our new plants are due to bird "participation". It has very brittle branches and when they are young and cut ooze an orangey substance, as do the leaves when cut from branches.
Removing Wax from Lead Crystal Candle Holder?How do I remove a lot of wax from a leaded crystal candle holder? The holder is about ten inches high, about 7 inches across, and it is filled with wax (about 3 inches deep). Lesson learned, don't allow others to "please light the candles". Please help!
