Each Election Day, we have the chance to shape the future of our communities, states, and nation by voting. Sadly, too many of us fail to exercise that right. Voter turnout in America has declined steadily for four decades. In fact, only half of eligible Americans voted in the 2000 presidential election, and only 39% voted in 2002. When we don't vote, we have no guarantee that our viewpoints will be expressed or that our ideals will be supported!
The U.S. is 140th out of 163 world democracies. This is downright embarrassing for the country who started it all. If you haven't voted but are registered, make sure you vote in your primary and general elections. If you have never voted or are not currently registered, please click on this link to make sure you get registered in time for the elections.
