Help with kitchen counter tops
I have been trying in vane to find some way to clean the counter tops in my kitchen. We are renting this house and the counter tops in the kitchen(formica I think) are beige. There are all kinds of grayish stains and some that look like rust and I have tried Comet, Ajax, Bon Ami, a little household bleach and SOS pads to no avail! They have helped with some of the lighter stains, but there are still those awful old ugly brownish/grayish stains! I'm not sure where these came from, but I sure would like to get rid of them. If anyone has any suggestions, I certainly would appreciate hearing from you.... -Kathy

Need Tips on Using Liquid Fabric Softener
I have been using dryer sheets to soften my clothes in the dryer for a while now. Recently, I found a deal on liquid fabric softener that I couldn't pass up (free!), and am wondering if anyone has tips on using liquid softener in a machine without an automatic dispenser. I know one company sells a ball to use, but I don't know whether that works or if it's even worth the expense. I really appreciate any ideas! Thanks! -Amy

How to Save Eating at Restaurants
The one area where I really would like to be able to save money is eating out. So many times I am just too tired to cook in the evening and the two of us ends up by eating at a fast food or similar place. Even though we seem to get the cheaper menu items and never order fries, it does add up. Are there any other ways we can save in this area? -Betty
Ideas for Corks?
Any ideas for making any crafts or finding a way to reuse corks from wine bottles? Any practical uses for them in the garden, or outdoors, perhaps? The only thing I can think of is to use them for fishing bobbers, LOL! -Ness
