My Mom has used her Foley food chopper for over 40 years. It's on its last legs. Finally found a replacement - check out the Vermont Country Store catalog/website. They had so many requests for this item that they had one made! $12.95 each.

Good Luck!
Hi,
Search any gourmet kitchen site. I've found mine at garage sales and thrift shops. It is a great tool. Here's a source. At least you can see what it looks like so you can look for one.

This is specifically to LoriMatson (3/15/01) and Wayneomil (2/26/02) but anybody's help is more than welcome. I, too, have searched fruitlessly for a Foley food chopper. I inherited mine from my mother and now it is falling apart. I simply CANNOT find this gadget no matter where I look. Is the Foley company still in business? I really use this chopper everyday and I need a replacement. Has anybody been able to find one? Help! Help! Ida Estep
I found your site while looking for a source for the "Foley Food Chopper" mentioned by another user. this is the best food chopper ever. I have used this product for 50 years. I have only one left in working condition. My married children are trying to decide how to make me part with it. If anyone knows where they are available please advise. thank you.
You are missing one of the "greatest" of all -- a Foley food chopper. It is hand-held and has three small blades that go up and down by a "spring." Hard to explain but it is wonderful. You can chop just everything with it -- onions, tomatoes, nuts, etc. in just a flick of the wrist. I also like it because I can break up the larger pieces of ground beef in a skillet when necessary. Mine is about 20 years old and is falling apart and I haven't been able to find a new one but I am looking!! It is an absolute must in the kitchen!! The spring has now broken in mine and I am still using the blades -- that's how great it is. If someone knows where to locate one of these, I would be forever grateful. I saw something similar one time at a swap meet, bought it and somehow lost the package and have not been able to locate another one. Lori
