Install an inexpensive low-flow shower head to cut down on the amount of water you use. Using less water will save you money on water, electric and/or gas bills.

When buying light bulbs try buying a lesser wattage than normal or a compact fluorescent bulb. You will save money on electricity daily.

If you will be out of a room more than 3 seconds, it saves money to turn off the light.

COMPACT LIGHT BULBS - When you install a new bulb write the date in marker on the bulb base, that way you will know how long it actually lasts.

I just discarded a bulb marked 08/93 and replaced it 09/01 ... pretty good life!
