Craft: Garden Bench from a Broken Table
We had a glass table in the garden and one day it shattered. So we came up with this solution for recycling it. We used left over wood planks and even the last of the stain we had for the deck. Here is what we came up with. A two seater chair for the deck! With a wide enough arm to place a drink or plate. Its comfy too!

We have added pillows and its extremely sturdy. We checked it's stability before committing ourselves to making it. We didn't want anyone to get hurt in any way. We have a 6 yr old and hes on it all the time.

If you can add something soft to the back of the bench, it will be better, I think! In addition, I really wonder if it will lose it's balance.
