Watch Out For Roaches From Used Appliances
I love this site and read it all the time. I decided to follow the frugal living tip about buying a used appliance. I bought a used refrigerator and it works great. My tip is that since I have had it in my home, I am now seeing those little German roaches in the kitchen only near where the refrigerator is sitting. I have the boric acid mix out all around the refrigerator.
Thought this may help someone else.

I have had roaches come in on a new fridge. Apparently they were in the warehouse.

Think about this if someone just gives you a used appliance.
