Can anyone tell me how I can get a large mirrors down that have been glued to the wall? I have 3 of them. The walls behind them are plaster.

You can also criss cross the mirror with duck tape and hit it in several places with a hammer and take it off in pieces...

Best,

We had this delemma also. We ended up pulling the mirror off and half the drywall ended up coming off as well. We had to put up all new sheet rock :o(

We had a wall of mirrors in our foyer when we bought the house. One contractor said use piano wire to slip behind the mirror and sort of "floss" it off (if we wanted them in whole) Ultimately what he did was to place long strips of masking tape all over it, and broke it up, letting it land on a heavy duty drop cloth on the floor below. Good luck

Go to www.diynetwork.com, and in the search box, type in "mirror removal." This will take you to a page with a list of articles. Click on the one entitled "Bathroom Remodel: Demolition." This article shows you step-by step how to remove a mirror. Good Luck!
