our daughter has lupus. Green tones down red. Get a green foundation to cancel out the red and then put makeup on as usual.

I sympathise.. I've all my life had a rosy to red complexion and have always wanted to be 'pale and interesting' Sorry.. I don't know any home remedies for this.. I've just got used to it. If I'm out I wear a light beige foundation to 'tone' down a bit. Years ago there was a green tinted foundation you could buy that promised the pale and interesting look for us redfaces.. I think I used too much.. everyone kept asking me if I was sick!

I too have this problem, aloe vera gel seems to soothe mine. I also find that mineral make-up, such as Sheer Cover neutralizes the appearance of it really well.
