Pea Plants Turning Yellow?

Why are my peas turning yellow? They are planted in bagged compost. Thanks.

You don't say what kind of peas they are. If they are little green English peas, and the temperature is getting too hot, then the peas will start to turn yellow and die from the heat. English peas are a spring crop.
