Chipmunk Pie

Ingredients:
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1/4 t. salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 t. baking powder
  • 1/2 t. vanilla
  • 1 c. chopped apples
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts

Directions:

Sift flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Mix in egg, vanilla and chopped apples. Bet thoroughly. Add chopped nuts and mix by hand. Bake in a 9 inch greased pie pan for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Serve with whipped topping sprinkled with nutmeats.
