Solution For Stale Poppyseed

Can I take the staleness out of poppyseed? If not, will birds eat it?

Did you try toasting them in a 350 degree oven for about 5 minutes? I'm sure birds would eat them, or other critters would enjoy them. Are you sure you couldn't just use them in a poppyseed cake?
