Season chicken pieces with salt, pepper, and paprika. Put chicken pieces until broiler to brown on all sides. In the meantime, put the onion pieces in a heavy Dutch oven type pan on a burner and turn on low as possible. After chicken pieces are browned, put in with onion and allow to simmer 40 minutes or until done. If calories are not being counted, a sauce or gravy can be made from the brown onions in the bottom of the pan.
