Breakfast Grits Casserole

Ingredients

  • 6 cups boiling water
  • 1 1/2 cups grits (prepared according to package directions)
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 cup margarine
  • 1 lb. sharp cheddar cheese, grated
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • Tabasco sauce, to taste

Directions

In a saucepan, prepare the grits according to the package directions, using 6 cups of water. In an oven-proof dish, combine all ingredients, mixing well. Bake in a 250 degree F oven for 1 hour.
