Baked Pineapple

Ingredients:

  • 5 slices of bread
  • 1/4 lb. margarine
  • 1 (No 2) can pineapple
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 cup sugar

Directions:

Cut bread into squares. Melt margarine. Brown bread until crisp. Combine remaining ingredients and pour into dish. Top with bread cubes. Bake in 350 degree F oven for 30-40 minutes or until firm.

Baked Pineapple

A favorite of my husband. Very sweet and yummy!

Ingredients:

  • 1 regular can crushed pineapple
  • 1/4-1/2 lb. cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • bread crumbs, browned in butter

Directions:

Mix undrained pineapple, cheese, sugar, flour and salt. Pour into baking dish. Top with bread crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees F for 30-40 minutes.

Servings: 8
Prep Time: 20 Minutes
Cooking Time: 30-40 Minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 large can crushed pineapple (save juice)
  • 1 cup grated Velveeta cheese
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • butter

Directions:

Combine 1 cup sugar, 2 Tbsp. flour and juice from pineapple. Mix all ingredients together and add 1 cup bread crumbs. Place in baking dish and dot with butter. Bake about 45 minutes at 350 degrees F.
