Description:

Aleppo Pepper is named after where it comes from Aleppo, Syria, which is one of the oldest cities in history. This pepper is somewhat fruity and cumin like in flavor with moderate spice level. Comes crushed and is similar but coarser than paprika.

Using:

Use to get an authentic Mediterranean flavor. Good substitute to crushed red chilies on pizza, salads and pastas. Great to spice up any dish!

Storage:

As Ground spices go they should only be kept for 6 months in airtight containers. Whole spices can be kept for two years in airtight containers.
