Trick or Treating Tips

A parent or adult should always accompany younger children.
If older children are going alone, plan out the route to take and set a certain time to be home.
Only go to homes with a porch light on.
Never cut across yards or alleys.
Stay in a group and communicate with each other where you are going.
If possible, carry a cell phone with you.
Remain on well lit streets.
Never enter a stranger's home for a treat.
Doesn't hurt to carry a flashlight.
Cross streets in a group. Oncoming cars can see you better.
