Trick or Treating Tips
- A parent or adult should always accompany younger children.
- If older children are going alone, plan out the route to take and set a certain time to be home.
- Only go to homes with a porch light on.
- Never cut across yards or alleys.
- Stay in a group and communicate with each other where you are going.
- If possible, carry a cell phone with you.
- Remain on well lit streets.
- Never enter a stranger's home for a treat.
- Doesn't hurt to carry a flashlight.
- Cross streets in a group. Oncoming cars can see you better.
