Red Velvet Cake
1 white non pudding cake mix
1 3.5 oz package non instant chocolate pudding mix
approximately 1/2 cup buttermilk
red food coloring as desired
Preheat oven to 350 degrees,
Prepare cake mix as per package directions, substituting buttermilk for half of the water called for.( I use sour milk when I don't have buttermilk.)
Stir in the dry pudding mix, and the red food coloring.( I use about 2 tbsp.)
When the batter is as red as you want it, pour into pan(s) and bake according to the package directions.
