Craft Project: Skirt Purse
Make a purse for a little girl from one of her favorite skirts she has outgrown.
Approximate Time: 30 minutes
Supplies:
- old little girls skirt
- pretty boa or ribbon
- needle and thread
Instructions:
Turn the skirt wrong side out and sew the bottom of the skirt closed. Turn back right side out, and sew your boa or ribbon on as in the picture for the handle. You are done! I hand sewed mine but you can use a sewing machine if you like.
My little girl loves hers. All of her friends in kindergarten want me to make them one. It's a hit and so simple!
