Seven Layer Bars

Ingredients:

  • 1 stick (1/2 cup) margarine
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 cup coconut
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. butterscotch chips
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup chopped nuts

Directions:

Place stick of margarine in 9x13 inch pan and melt in the oven. Sprinkle the crushed graham crackers over the melted margarine. Sprinkle the coconut over crumbs. Distribute the chocolate chips over the next layer. Distribute the butterscotch chips for the next layer. Drizzle over all the condensed milk. Sprinkle chopped nuts over top of condensed milk layer. Bake in 350 degree F oven for 35 minutes. Cook in pan before attempting to cut into bars or squares.

Recipe: Seven Layer Bars

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 cup coconut
  • 1 (16 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
  • 1 (16 oz.) pkg. butterscotch chips
  • 1 (15 oz.) can Eagle Brand Milk
  • 1 cup chopped nuts

Directions

Melt butter in 13x9 inch baking dish. Add remaining ingredients in order given, sprinkling evenly over preceding layer. After addition of nuts, press lightly in pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 25-30 minutes. Cut while warm NOT cold.
