Company Red Beet and Pineapple
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 can pineapple tidbits (9oz.)
- 1 T. butter or margarine
- 1 T. lemon juice
- 1 can sliced beets, drained (1 lb.)
Combine brown sugar, cornstarch, and salt in saucepan. Stir in pineapple tidbits, including syrup. Cook until mixture thickens and bubbles. Add butter, lemon juice, and beets. Heat through (about 5 minutes). Dish can be reheated in oven or microwave.
