Paperwhites as Gifts
Potted paperwhites make an interesting frugal gift. For more interest, pot them in a clear dish filled with sand. The bulbs can be found at garden stores and the clear dishes are usually available at thrift stores.

Before you give ANY flower, please be sure that the recipient isn't allergic to them. I absolutely love paperwhites & their cousins, daffodills, but their presence gives me a terrible headache.
