Lawn Mower Not Sucking Grass Into Bag

My lawn mower is not sucking the grass into the bag. Any ideas what could be wrong. Thanks,

Always wait to cut your grass until the dew has dried. Wet grass will clump up and not suck into the bag. Spray the underside of the deck with silicone spray or WD-40 to help keep the grass from sticking to it. And empty the bag often.

how old is your lawn mower? some mowers come with mulching blades whose purpose is to chop up the grass and leave most of it on the lawn to rot and fertilize. The regular blade (non mulching) is bent and shaped differently. Remove the blade and take it to a lawn mower repair shop to see if you have the right one. Also make sure the bottom of the deck is clean. If it becomes too clogged with old clippings and dirt, the cut grass won't flow properly to get to the bag.
