Paint and Carpet Color Ideas

Light sage and darker tan with dark wood is a very natural, neutral, and winning combination. Navy always strikes me as sort of 80's (70's?). Good luck.

I would go the sage route. I wouldn't do blue carpet, as it is too dark and might look dated.
