I want to make swans from boiled eggs. What can I use for wings? I have pipe cleaners for neck and head.

I'm thinking maybe lettuce leaves or onion slices... well, not SLICES, but peel the onion away in layers and you'll get curved pieces that could make lovely wings.

If the egg has been pealed I'd use jicama (a Mexican root vegetable) or a cut up raw potato (dipped in to lime juice so it won't turn brown) or a sliced then carved turnip. Any of these things can be carved.

If the egg is still in it's shell you can use a 2 tiny pieces of paper that are folded like accordions.
