Restoring the Enamel Inside a Crockpot

I have a crockpot with a removable crock and I kept it plugged in with water in it on low to warm baby bottles in a hurry and now it looks as if the enamel, or whatever the inside is made of, has come off in spots.

Does anyone know how I can restore this to cook in it again or do I need a new crockpot? Please Help!

Better safe than sorry; go get a new one! I would not use a crock with a chipped liner for any reason! Shari
