I have to agree with flinchonce that your beautiful dog is probably a lab and pit bull mix. Don't let the word pit bull upset you as they can be most loving. I do not think that guess is one formed in concrete, as there are other short haired dogs with similar shapes that, mixed with a lab might look a lot the same, but whatever he/she is, just enjoy, as all our canine friends should be loved for who they are, not what their bloodlines are, just like us.
My guess would be a lab/staffordshire terrier mix, or a lab/shar pei mix. Since shar peis don't care much for other dogs, I bet it's a staffy. :) Good looking dog!
