Now is the time to buy a couple extra cans of food for the food drives for the needy that will be coming up. These foods will be greatly appreciated by those less forunate then ourselves. Let your kids get involved by letting them help choose the foods that they will bring to the drive, it teaches compassion and helpfulness.

Lots of times there are coupons in the paper for foods or toiletries I don't use but when doubles or on special at the market are free, or nearly so. These make painless donations to the food drives. Especially needed by food banks, besides food are diapers, cleaning products and necessary paper goods. Food stamps don't cover any non-edibles.
