Custard Biscuits

So yummy!

Ingredients:

Cake

  • 250 g margarine
  • 1/2 cup icing sugar
  • 1/2 cup custard powder
  • 2 1/2 cups cake flour
  • butter icing to sandwich biscuits
Ad

Icing

  • 125 g butter
  • 1 1/2 cups sifted icing sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. orange essence

Directions:

Cake

Preheat oven to 355 degrees F (180 degrees C) degrees. Cream margarine and sugar. Beat in custard powder. Add flour and make a dough. Break off marble-size portions and place on baking sheet. Press lightly with a fork.

Bake for 15-20 minutes until the edges begin to brown lightly. Remove from oven, cool and sandwich with butter icing.

Icing

Beat butter with sugar until creamy. Add the orange essence and mix till fluffy. Sandwich the biscuits when cool. Sprinkle with icing sugar on top.

15-20 Minutes Cooking Time
