I would say mini dachshund, since the mom was a chihuahua the dad could not have been very big or she could not have carried the pups.

He looks a whole lot like our dogs. They are chihuahua/dachshund mix and just the sweetest little things you ever saw! That's saying a lot, coming from a catlover!

He looks like Dashound mix to me. We had a Pug/Dashound when I was a kid that looked a lot like your baby dog.
