100 Year Old Cookies

Ingredients:
  • 4 cups sugar
  • 2 lbs. butter
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 lb. raisins (chopped)
  • 2 cups nutmeats
  • 2 tsp. soda
  • 2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:

Mix with 9 cups flour - if you roll in balls and press. Mix with 8 cups flour - if you roll for cut out cookies.

Bake at 350 degrees F. until light brown.

Dough keeps well if refrigerated. Cookies freeze well.

My Goodness Robin....How many cookies does this recipe make? I don't think I have a mixing bowl big enough to mix it in.LOL
