I have frozen cream of cauliflour soup and it was just as good as fresh.

you shouldn't freeze soups with potatoes, pasta, or soups that are primarily cream based. They will still be edible, but the taste is affected too much. Especially pasta, which will turn out mushy.

Add pasta at the time of reheating a soup, and eat cream and potato based soups fresh.

Don't see why not. Milk and cream can be frozen.

I have frozen my potato soup for a short period of time. It wasn't bad... and I am still alive :-)
